This study explored the sustainability of parents' participation in school governance and its contribution to educational quality in selected public schools. Recognizing parents as essential partners in school development, the study examined how sustained parental involvement influenced school decision-making, accountability, and continuous educational improvement. Guided by the principles of participatory governance and sustainable education, the research employed a qualitative multiple case study design. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with parents, school heads, teachers, and parent organization officers, complemented by document analysis and non-participant observations. Thematic analysis was conducted to identify recurring patterns related to parental engagement, collaborative governance, communication, shared responsibility, and support for school programs. The findings revealed that sustainable parental participation was fostered through transparent leadership, inclusive decision-making, mutual trust, and consistent communication between schools and families. Participants emphasized that active parental involvement strengthened school governance, enhanced student support systems, improved learning environments, and promoted shared accountability for educational outcomes. The study concluded that sustaining meaningful parent participation required institutional commitment, capacity-building initiatives, and collaborative partnerships that extended beyond routine school activities. The findings provided practical insights for school leaders and policymakers in developing sustainable governance strategies that encouraged long-term parent engagement and contributed to continuous educational quality improvement and institutional resilience.
