Author Guidelines

Authors submitting manuscripts to VIT must ensure that their work is original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another publication.

Manuscript Preparation

  • Manuscripts must be written in clear academic English.
  • Articles should generally range from 4,000–8,000 words.
  • Authors must use the official VIT manuscript template.
  • APA 7th Edition citation and referencing style must be followed.
  • Include an abstract of 150–250 words and 5–6 keywords.
  • Tables, figures, screenshots, diagrams, and codes must be properly labeled and cited.
  • Manuscripts must pass plagiarism and similarity screening prior to peer review.

Submission Requirements

  • Manuscripts should be submitted through the official journal submission platform or designated editorial email.
  • After passing editorial screening, authors will be requested to remove all identifying information from the manuscript to ensure the integrity of the double-blind peer review process.
  • A separate title page containing author information, affiliations, ORCID IDs, and correspondence details may be requested.

Review and Publication Process

  • All submissions undergo editorial evaluation and double-blind peer review.
  • Authors may be required to revise manuscripts based on reviewer recommendations.
  • Accepted papers proceed to copyediting, layout formatting, proofreading, and publication.
