Author Responsibilities
Authors submitting manuscripts to IJEV are expected to:

- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of research data
- Avoid plagiarism and unethical research practices
- Comply with the journal’s maximum similarity index requirement of 15%
Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism, duplicate publication, or fabricated data may be rejected or retracted.
Editorial Responsibilities
Editors are responsible for:
- Ensuring fair, objective, and unbiased editorial decisions
- Maintaining the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts
- Evaluating manuscripts solely on academic merit
- Addressing ethical concerns and complaints promptly and professionally
- Preventing conflicts of interest in the editorial process
Reviewer Responsibilities
Peer reviewers are expected to:
- Provide objective, constructive, and timely evaluations
- Maintain strict confidentiality of manuscripts under review
- Declare any conflicts of interest
- Identify relevant published work not cited by the authors
- Report suspected ethical misconduct or plagiarism
Misconduct Handling
Cases involving plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, or other unethical behavior may result in:
- Immediate rejection of the manuscript
- Retraction of published articles
- Notification to the authors’ affiliated institutions or organizations
- Restriction from future submissions to the journal
The journal reserves the right to investigate ethical concerns at any stage of the publication process.
Retractions and Corrections
IJEV publishes corrections, clarifications, expressions of concern, or retractions when necessary to maintain the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of the scholarly record. All editorial actions will follow ethical publishing standards and appropriate due process.
