Retraction and Correction Policy
The International Journal of Educational Viewpoints (IJEV) is committed to maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the scholarly record. When significant errors or ethical concerns are identified in published articles, the journal will take appropriate actions through corrections, retractions, or other editorial notices.
Corrections
Corrections may be issued when published articles contain errors that do not invalidate the overall findings of the study but require clarification or amendment. Examples include:
- Typographical or formatting errors
- Incorrect author information or affiliations
- Minor data or reference inaccuracies
- Errors introduced during the publication process
Corrections will be clearly linked to the original article to ensure transparency.
Retractions
Articles may be retracted when there is clear evidence of:
- Plagiarism or duplicate publication
- Data fabrication or falsification
- Serious methodological or ethical violations
- Unreliable findings or misleading conclusions
- Unauthorized use of copyrighted materials
Retraction notices will remain publicly accessible and clearly identify the reason for the retraction to preserve the integrity of the scholarly record.
Expressions of Concern
In cases where an investigation is ongoing and conclusive evidence is not yet available, IJEV may publish an expression of concern to inform readers about potential issues related to a published article.
Ethical Oversight
The journal follows internationally recognized publication ethics standards and may coordinate with authors, reviewers, editors, and affiliated institutions when investigating ethical concerns.
IJEV is committed to ensuring transparency, accountability, and responsible scholarly publishing in all stages of the editorial and publication process.
